Rock On Snowboard Tour Amneville
This year, the Mondial du Snowboard has taken on a different format. Instead of one huge snowboard event in Les Deux Alpes, it’s been split up into several ‘tour stops.’ The first of which was at the indoor snowdome in Amneville, near Metz.

Bloody Board
The café de Paris in Oberkamp was the chosen location for the première of the new Vans Snow/ Skate film, ‘Bloody Board’. Featuring a line up of Vans riders,this is the newest french snowboard video of the 2008/2009 season.
Huge backcountry and park built kickers are the main feature of the film, as I found it lacked a some jibbing. Arthur ‘amplitude’ Longo, demonstrated how he came to win the Arctic Challenge, as he goes massive off a quarter pipe. The best section for me, was JJ Roux, who opened with some skating, then went on to the snow park.
L’avant première du nouveau film de Vans présenté leur nouveau film ‘Bloody Board’ mercredi au Café de Paris, Oberkampf. Régroupant les meilleurs riders Vans, c’est le video tournée au cours de l’hiver 2008/2009.
La majorité de l’action se passe autrour des kickers énormes, consruit au backcountry et parc et je trouve que ça manqué un peu de ‘jibbing’ (plus de tricks sur les rails). Arthur Longo s’envole sur le quarter, et nous démontre qu’il a bien mérité sa première place à L’Arctic Challenge cette année.
Mon passage préféré est celui de JJ Roux, qui commence son prestation en skate et enchaîne en snowboard.
